[Construction Case] Shuri High School General Classroom Building Renovation Project Temporary Access Road

It is difficult to secure the delivery route for the renovation of the school building! A temporary delivery route has been secured with embankment in an off-site area.

In this project, we will secure a temporary access route with embankment in the off-site space. Originally, the design included parent piles with horizontal sheet piles (L = 1.5m horizontal sheet piles), but it was anticipated that using L = 1.5m would result in a larger number of parent piles, and there are expected to be underground structures. Therefore, there was a request to reduce the number of parent piles as much as possible, and we discussed the possibility of using quick soil retention (panel) with L = 3.0m. Previously, it was mentioned that there was a construction record using this method at another site of the client, which facilitated smooth discussions and led to the order. We provided the strength calculation report for the soil retention panel with a depth of 3.0m. Regarding the parent piles supporting the panel, we requested the client's lender to consider horizontal sheet piles with 3.0m panels, and it was determined that by adding 1m (from 4m to 5m) for the embedment, it would be feasible for construction. [Key Points of the Construction] - Difficulties in securing access routes for the high school building renovation project - Secured a temporary access route with embankment in the off-site space - Equipment used: Quick soil retention (BOX type) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

[Construction Case] Installation Work of Combined Treatment Sewage System

Changed to a construction method that creates a large pit! Quick soil retention adopted for the installation of a large combined sewage treatment tank!

This is an example of a private construction project where a property that was sold off from public housing is being renovated into a company dormitory. The initial design involved open excavation without soil retention, but it was deemed impractical due to the proximity of buildings. Therefore, "Quick Soil Retention BOX-type Panels" along with "Vertical Beam Connection Fittings" and "Long Support" were used. The construction was changed to create a large pit, measuring 7.5m in length, 3.5m in width, and 3.5m in depth, using 350mm square H-beams for bracing. 【Equipment Used】 ■ Long Support ■ Quick Soil Retention (BOX type) ■ Vertical Beam Connection Fittings *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
